Made of Honour is a romantic comedy, that follows the niche storyline of "the girl next door'". Tom, played by Patrick Dempsey, first meets Hannah (played by Michelle Monaghan), in college. Tom accidently and unknowingly climbs into Hannah's bed. Hannah is the only girl that Tom hasn't slept with, instead the pair remain friends into adulthood.

Now living as adults in New York, Tom lives by rules that protect him from falling in love or settling down in a serious relationship. Hannah is career driven artist; however, Hannah is at an age in her life now where she is looking for love.

Hannah and Tom spend every Sunday together. Hannah shares with Tom that she has recently accepted a job offer in Scotland. Tom soon realises that Hannah leaving for six weeks, changes things for him, because he has always had Hannah in his back pocket, friend zoned.

When Hannah returns, she reveals to Tom that she has met a guy, Colin, played by McKidd. Colin and Hannah will soon marry, making Tom realises that he has always had the perfect girl right by his side.

Hannah asks Tom to be her maid of honor and Tom agrees. Tom starts to see that Hannah is in fact the girl of his dreams and he has to try and win her heart over before she steps over the line.

The soundtrack in the film has modern music and music from around the time the film was produced. Some sounds include 'Gold Digger' by Kanye West and 'Love Song' by Sara Barellies.

Overall, I rate this movie a 6/10 and would recommend it to others to watch. It is an easy watch and a great rom com that you could watch again!
