Comedy/Romance

Jennifer Anniston plays Kassie, a middle-aged, single women living in New York, wanting to start a family, before her fertility chances are slim. Kassie's best friend Wally, played by Jason Bateman, doesn't agree with her decision to start a family with a complete stranger.

Kassie is seeking a donor to help make her dream come true. She finds a donor, Roland (Patrick Wilson). Debbie, played by Juliette Lewis, throws Kassie a party to celebrate her potential pregnancy. Roland and his wife attend the party where he offers Kassie his "ingredient" to help inseminate her!

Wally, intoxicated and sedated, visits the bathroom where Roland has left his "offering" in a specimen container. Wally accidently washes it down the sink. Weeks pass and Kassie announces that she is pregnant. Shortly after, she decides to leave New York for a family friendly life. Time passes and Wally and Kassie live separate lives.

Seven years later Kassie decides to return to New York with her son Sebastion. Sebastion is a curious, smart little boy that does not resemble the child that Wally envisioned Kassie and Roland to have conceived.

Wally starts to notice similar behaviors, habits and characteristics of Sebastion that starts to make Wally re-evaluate what exactly happened in the bathroom the night of Kassie's fertility party. Wally realises that he replaced Roland's specimen with his.

Wally has to find a way to tell Kassie that he is the father of Sebastion, without jeopardizing his friendship with his best friend, Kassie (Jennifer Anniston). Kassie believes that Wally is in love with her, when she mentions it to Wally, he realises that he may feel the same way.

Now that Sebastion and Wally are living back in New York, Kassie wants Sebastion to meet his "seed guy" - his father. Kassie explains to Sebastion that she wanted him so much, she needed seeds to grow him in her tummy. Kassie starts to build a relationship with Roland for the sake of Sebastion. Sebastion and Wally get to know each other better, and Wally's love for his son grows stronger. Wally is racing against the chemistry growing between Kassie and Roland and needs to tell her sooner that he is the father of Sebastion, before Roland, Kassie and Sebastion become a family.

In the end Kassie, Wally and Sebastion unite as a family! We see Wally's character evolve as an individual that softens and allows room for a family and love in his life. When Wally cares for Sebastion, when Roland and Kassie are out of town, we learn that Wally never knew his father. In my perspective, you can see that Wally wants to be a father to Sebastion and doesn't want him to grow up father-less the same way he did.

Over-all, this movie was a great watch, easy plot to follow along with and I would recommend this to other viewers!
